New Lambton Addition / Renovation
Newcastle NSW
About this project
This extensive home addition and renovation transformed an existing brick house into a spacious, contemporary home. The addition introduced a larger living room, new kitchen, laundry, bathroom, covered entertaining deck and dedicated storage room, creating more space for everyday living and entertaining.
A soaring raked ceiling is a standout feature, complemented by timber flooring carefully matched to connect the original home with the addition. Designer finishes include a curved kitchen island with fluted timber detailing, brass accents and statement lighting, alongside a skylit laundry and a bathroom featuring a floating timber vanity and feature tiles.
The renovation also included a complete roof replacement, all new windows and doors, a new garage door, full internal painting and external rendering. These upgrades brought the original house and new addition together, delivering a cohesive home with improved functionality and a refreshed exterior.
