Maryland Duplex

Our Maryland duplex project transformed a sloping, rocky block into two contemporary homes, each featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, spacious open-plan living and a large garage. The project included everything from initial site preparation through to interior finishes and complete landscaping.

Extensive rock cutting and excavation were required to establish the building levels and accommodate the garages beneath the homes. Retaining walls and stepped access addressed the slope, while a combination of dark brickwork, light finishes, contrasting cladding and front balconies created a modern street presence.

Inside, each home features a contemporary kitchen, generous living spaces and bathrooms finished with large-format tiles and black detailing. Concrete driveways, terraced garden beds, stone edging, planting and turf completed the development, bringing together two practical, welcoming homes designed to suit the site.
