Cooranbong Disability Bathroom
Lake Macquarie NSW
About this project
This bathroom renovation prioritises accessibility and practical space for assisted care. The walk-in shower features a hinged glass screen that protects the vanity from spray while opening to give carers access to both areas. White wall tiles and grey floor tiles create a bright finish, complemented by an opening skylight for natural light and ventilation.
Completed on behalf of NSW Trustee & Guardian, the renovation included new wall and floor tiling, vanity installation, shower fit-out and installation of the opening skylight. Grab rails, a handheld shower, recessed storage niche and linear floor drain complete a bathroom tailored to the resident’s mobility needs and day-to-day care.
